Trump in A Video Message: Don’t Let Corona Rule Your Life
In a video message on Twitter, US President Donald Trump once again urged his followers not to be afraid of the coronavirus.
Trump had left the hospital earlier Monday evening (local time) and returned to the White House. In a video recorded there, he said again that he was doing well and that people should not let the coronavirus rule their lives.
“Don’t let it control you. Don’t be afraid of it,” Trump said, after taking off his face mask on arrival at the White House.
“We’re going to get back to work. We’re going to beat it. We have the best medical equipment and the best drugs. And the vaccines are coming any time.”
Earlier in the day, Trump had already spread words to the same effect via a message on Twitter. That message was “no longer available” several hours later because it “violated Twitter rules,” the social media company reported.
