All of China Briefly Quarantine Foreign Travellers
China limits the mandatory quarantine of foreign travellers to ten days, seven of which will be in a government-specified quarantine centre.
The country almost completely closed its borders in March 2020 to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. It took firm measures but is gradually withdrawing them.
The mandatory quarantine for foreign travellers was fourteen days. In several places, including Beijing, June 20 has already been shortened to ten days. Last month, China also abolished the mandatory corona test for people flying to China from several countries.
Since June 20, it has also been made easier to visit relatives in China by removing certain formalities.
