USA: Record Number of Corona Deaths in 24 Hours Again
In the United States, more than 3000 people have died last 24 hours as a result of an infection with the coronavirus, reports Reuters news agency based on its own count.
It is the first time in a country that more than 3,000 corona deaths have occurred in 24 hours. A week ago, the U.S. also recorded a record number of deaths.
American healthcare infrastructure is also becoming overloaded by now. I.C. beds are no longer available in some districts. The number of Covid patients in hospitals rose to 105,805 on Wednesday, an 18 percent increase from two weeks ago.
President-elect Joe Biden and the head of the U.S. Center for Disease Prevention (CDC) Robert Redfield warned last week that an additional 200,000 people in the U.S. could die through February if people fail to comply with regulations and are going to keep the measures.
Of all countries in the world, the United States has been hit hardest by the corona pandemic. In total, almost 290,000 people have already died from the effects of Covid-19, and about 15.4 million people have been infected.
