Trump Signs decree for Banning espionage Telecom. US President Donald Trump signed a decree for a ban on espionage telecom on Wednesday.
That means that American companies are no longer allowed to do business with telecom giants such as Huawei.
US Secretary of State, Wilbur Ross, said in a statement that Trump had signed the declaration to “prevent US technology from being used by foreign-owned entities in ways that could weaken US national security or foreign policy interests.”
Although the decree is not explicitly aimed at a country or company,
several American ministers have already put Huawei away as a “threat”.
Huawei denies allegations of espionage
According to the Americans, the equipment of the Chinese Huawei is used by the Chinese state for spying.
Huawei denies that accusation.
Trump signed a decree in August that prohibited the US government from using products from Huawei or ZTE, another Chinese supplier of telecom equipment.
