Greek Refugee Camp Moria Almost Destroyed by Fire
The Moria refugee camp on the Greek island of Lesbos was almost entirely destroyed by a fire Wednesday.
The approximately 13,000 migrants in the camp have been evacuated.
Firefighters said there were no injuries, but an unknown number of people had respiratory problems from smoke inhalation.
There are reports that fires have been lit by refugees who disagree with the corona measures in place in the camp, the BBC reported.
The fire caused great panic among the residents. The refugees are mostly along roads around the camp.
Hundreds of migrants tried to flee to the port of Mytilene but were stopped by the Greek police.
