At Least Eight Dead in Atlanta Shooting Incidents
Shooting incidents in a massage parlour and two spas in the American city of Atlanta caused at least eight deaths on Tuesday evening (local time), local media report.
Police have arrested a 21-year-old suspect. Whether there is a connection between the violent acts is as yet unclear.
Four people were killed when shots were fired at a massage parlour near Ackworth, an Atlanta suburb. There were also two injured. Three more people were killed at a similar establishment in the capital of Georgia. At the spa nearby, one more was killed.
Police say the victims are women of Asian appearance. The police could not say anything about any motive.
Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murders. According to CNN, it is 21-year-old Robert Aaron Long from nearby Woodstock.
