Daily New Corona Infections Increase Again in Germany
The number of new corona infections detected in Germany in the last 24 hours is higher than the number reported Tuesday morning.
A total of 1,576 people in the Federal Republic were found to have the lung virus in the last 24 hours.
On Tuesday, 1,278 infections were reported that had been diagnosed in the last 24 hours.
That was already a significant increase from the 711 new cases announced on Monday. In total, the number of corona infections in Germany stands at 236,429.
The death toll rose by three deaths.
The new coronavirus has thus killed 9,280 people in Germany, according to the Robert Koch Institute, the German equivalent of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM).
