British Chemicals Group is Considering Billions of Pounds in Rotterdam. A British chemicals group is considering investing more than 2 billion pounds in Rotterdam chemical factories.
Het Financieele Dagblad (FD) declares Wednesday that Ineos will choose between Antwerp and Rotterdam.
In Antwerp already present in the group. Initially, the group only wanted to extend existing locations, but there would be synergies by investing the money in one place.
The decision would take in the coming 12 months.
Building the plant would take about four to five years and create several thousand jobs.
Once operational, the plant would provide four hundred to five hundred posts.
