New Test Flight Starship From SpaceX Delayed by One Day
The new test of a prototype Starship, a fully reusable missile system for missions to, for example, the Moon and Mars, has been postponed until Tuesday.
Elon Musk, the CEO of the American space company SpaceX, announced this on Twitter.
“The FAA inspector was unable to arrive at Starbase in time to witness the launch,” Musk referred to the launch site near Boca Chica, Texas. “The launch has been postponed until tomorrow.” Musk did not announce an exact hour.
In this fourth test, SN11 has to rise to a height of ten kilometres and then descend gently again vertically.
In December and January, a test ended in a crash-cum-explosion. The landing was successful on 3 March, but an explosion followed a few minutes later.
