Germany Reports 630 New Coronavirus Infections
In Germany, 630 new coronavirus infections have been detected in the past 24 hours. This is reported by the Robert Kocht Institut on Thursday.
The number of infections is now at 192,079. The death toll has risen by 13 to 8927.
The number of new infections is higher than a day earlier when 587 were reported. The infection rate has fallen sharply to 0.72, which was 2.02 yesterday.
Germany strives to keep this below 1, which means that an infected person will infect less than one other person on average.
At least 176,800 people recovered after the virus was diagnosed. That is five hundred more than a day earlier.
