Death Rate by Coronavirus in Italy Increases by 766. The number of coronavirus deaths in Italy in the past 24 hours has been about the same as the day before.
The civil defence agency reported 766 new deaths on Friday, up from 760 on Thursday.
In the country, 14,681 people have now succumbed to the effects of the virus. Italy remains the worst-hit country in Europe, followed by Spain.
The total number of infected people rose to 119,827.
