India has crossed a significant milestone in renewable energy by installing over 90 GW of solar capacity, strengthening its position as one of the global leaders in clean power.
The government has pledged to generate half of its electricity from non-fossil fuels by 2030, and experts say India is well on track to reach that target. Large-scale solar farms in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Karnataka are now producing enough energy to power millions of homes.
However, the rapid expansion also brings challenges, including land acquisition disputes and grid stability. Industry analysts suggest that battery storage technology will be crucial if India is to sustain its green energy momentum.
