NATO has confirmed that the treaty organisation’s Secretary General, Mark Rutte, will also be in Washington on Monday for a summit on Ukraine.
Earlier Sunday, Bloomberg News agency reported, citing anonymous sources, that Rutte will also attend the summit, along with a number of European leaders.
President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy have agreed to meet at the White House on Monday to discuss, among other things, Trump’s conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Several European leaders will accompany Zelenskyy to Washington.
