Number of Corona Infections in Germany Drops for the Fourth Day in A Row
The number of new coronavirus infections in Germany has fallen for the fourth day in a row in the past 24 hours.
The German counterpart of the RIVM, the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), counted 10,976 new infections on Monday morning. That’s a decrease of 2,779 from Sunday when 13,755 cases were reported.
This means that the decline continues, albeit not as strongly as Thursday (32,000), Friday (25,533) and Saturday (14,455). In total, the lung virus has been diagnosed in 1,651,834 people in Germany.
In the past twenty-four hours, 348 patients died in Germany from the effects of Covid-19; the day before that was slightly more: 356.
The total official number of corona deaths in the Federal Republic passed the threshold of 30,000 and now stands at 30,126.
