Swedish Insurer Pulls Out of Tesla Over Labour Rights Conflict

Swedish insurer Folksam has sold its stake in Tesla, worth almost 150 million euros, in connection with a conflict with the car company over employees’ labour rights.
Tesla does not want to sign collective labor agreements. This led to strikes in Sweden by Tesla mechanics, among others.
Folksam says Tesla’s stance against collective wage agreements is “problematic” given the insurer’s investment rules.
Also, despite insistence, the car manufacturer has not improved. That is why it has been decided to sell the entire stake in Tesla.
