OM Seized 12 Million Pounds In Research Into Manure Fraud
OM seized 12 Million pounds in Research into Manure Fraud. The Public Prosecution Service (OM) has captured a total of 12 million pounds last week from three directors of a bio-fermentation plant in Limburg.
The OM states this Wednesday. The seizure has to do with an ongoing investigation into suspected fraud with manure and waste by the company.
The Public Prosecutor suspects that since 2013, three times as much waste has processed as is authorised. The extra amount of garbage would have sold as manure.
It means that some 12 million pounds have earned according to the preliminary research. The attachment has been made to secure future claims.
Bank accounts and claims from companies and directors have been seized.
Three houses in the Netherlands were also taken by a total of three directors of the company and a villa in Spain from one of the directors.
Fertilization can be hazardous for public health because it is possible that bacteria and germs are not correctly extracted from the substances.
