First Interview Ariana Grande after Manchester Attack: Album Brings Light
First Interview Ariana Grande after Manchester Attack: Album Brings Light. Ariana Grande releases her new album Sweetener this summer. That was revealed by the singer in The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where she gave her first TV interview since the attack after her concert in Manchester last year, posted by Press Cube.
The pop star said in the show that she wants to bring “light” with her new album. “In a certain situation, or in someone’s life, or someone else who brings light into your life, to mitigate the situation,” said Ariana, who did not discuss the attack.
That did host Jimmy Fallon short. “I know it’s difficult for everyone, and I also know that you did not do any interviews, and I understand that”, the talk show host began. “I just really wanted to thank you for being here and for having done the benefit concert in Manchester, which was so strong and cool.”

Ariana Grande released No Tears Left To Cry on April 20, her first single since the attack. The lyrics of the song refer to the attack, but also contain an optimistic message: “So I’m loving, I’m living, I’m picking it up” (I love, I live, I get better). At the end of the accompanying video clip, you can see the worker bee, the symbol of Manchester.
