EU Leaders Regularly Arrange Video Contact About Coronavirus
The 27 EU leaders concluded their first meeting day in Brussels is intending to have more regular contact with each other by a video about the approach to the coronavirus.
Chancellor Angela Merkel said afterwards that the fight against the coronavirus is “a challenge for all governments”.
“We will all have to work hard,” she said, “to reduce the number of patients and isolate those infected to slow the spread.”
Among other things, the 27 leaders discussed the mutual recognition of corona tests and straightforward quarantine rules in the EU on a scientific basis.
