Scotland has announced the completion of the world’s largest floating wind farm off the coast of Aberdeenshire.
The project, capable of powering 300,000 homes, is seen as a milestone in the UK’s journey towards net zero.
First Minister Humza Yousaf called it a “historic achievement” that places Scotland at the forefront of clean energy innovation.
Environmental groups have praised the move but warn that the UK as a whole still lags behind in renewable targets. The government is now being urged to speed up grid connections and storage solutions to maximise the benefits.
